Types of Change and Strategies for Dealing with It

You must acknowledge that there are diverse kinds of change before you can manage it effectively within your business. These are the three primary types:

Developmental change

When you realize that something needs to be changed for the better instead of being thrown away, this is called a "developmental transformation." It's possible that your marketing team isn't finishing certain duties on time or that your human resources department needs to maintain strict control over your staff during these types of changes for a predetermined and regulated amount of time. During these kinds of changes, it's important to keep tight control over your staff for a set and regulated amount of time.

Transitional change

Transitional change frequently leads to transformational change. There may be times when your organization needs new policies and procedures in order to move to the next stage of its growth. These needs can come up at any time, so you need to be aware during transition so you can act quickly if you need to.

Transformational changes

As a result of transition, oftentimes there will be a period of transformation. As an organization matures, it may reach a point where new rules and regulations are required. During times of change, it's important to stay alert so that you're ready to act quickly if you need to.

What kind of change do you often observe taking place inside your company? Do things remain the same, or are you always undergoing change? Can you name an area where change is unavoidable?
