Spotlight on Our Stars!

Welcome to this Spotlight, where we take the time to highlight the outstanding contributions of our team! Every edition, we celebrate the passion, dedication, and creativity that our colleagues bring to the table. Whether it’s a standout project, a special skill, or a personal achievement, we’re excited to share their stories and the impact they make.

Let’s celebrate the amazing individuals who make our workplace thrive!

Juliana Artemes
Seed Technician

My name is Juliana, and I’ve been working with HarveStaff at Bayer for nearly a year now. Originally from Brazil, I’ve been living in the United States for about nine years. Over the years, I’ve held various jobs both in Brazil and in the U.S., but my experience with HarveStaff at Bayer has truly been one of the most rewarding.

The hiring process with HarveStaff was incredibly smooth and straightforward. From the start, the team made sure I had everything I needed. I strongly believe that communication is key to success in any workplace, and HarveStaff has exceeded all expectations in this area. From day one, they’ve been attentive, responsive, and supportive. I always feel confident knowing I can reach out at any time and receive guidance.

I’m currently based at a soybean seed facility in Fargo, North Dakota. Before this, I was living in Orlando, Florida, and moved here in search of better job opportunities. That’s when I found the chance to work with Bayer through HarveStaff. Even though I didn’t have prior experience in agronomy, I was given the opportunity to join as a Seed Technician—something I’m deeply grateful for.

Since joining, I’ve learned so much about soy seed production—from planting to harvesting, treating, and evaluating the final product. As a Seed Technician, I focus on quality control, analyzing bulk and finished seed samples through processes like Purity and Germination to ensure the product meets the high standards needed for sale.

The work environment at Bayer is incredibly positive. My coworkers are not only professional but also kind and supportive. We work as a team, help each other out, and maintain a strong culture of mutual respect. I often say this job has been one of the greatest blessings in my life.

I’m truly thankful for the opportunity to work here. My goal is to continue learning, contributing, and growing within the company. I’m committed to doing my best so that HarveStaff and Bayer continue to achieve outstanding results.

The Mid-Year Check-In We All Need

Let’s face it, Q3 was tough. You’re deep in the year, the pace is fast, and the pressure to “have it all figured out” can creep in. But here’s the truth: if you’ve been showing up, trying your best, and still pushing forward, you’re already doing great.

This quarter, take a minute to pause and reflect. Not everything has to be about chasing the next big thing. Sometimes, being a great employee is about staying consistent, being kind (to yourself and others), and recognizing progress in all its forms.

Here’s your reminder that growth doesn’t always look loud, sometimes it’s quiet, steady, and personal:

Small Wins Count

Finishing a hard task, speaking up in a meeting, or learning something new? That’s progress. Celebrate it.

Burnout ≠ Failure

Feeling tired or unmotivated doesn’t mean you’re falling behind, it means you need a reset. Take your breaks. Rest is productive too.

You’re Not Behind

Everyone’s path looks different. Don’t compare your Chapter 8 to someone else’s Chapter 20.

You’re Not Alone

Whether it’s work stress, personal stuff, or just a rough week, talk to someone. We’re here to help however we can.

We see your effort. We see your hustle. If you ever need support, resources, or even just someone to check in with, we are here to help.

Let’s keep going one step, one day, one win at a time. You’ve got this.

Need someone to talk to? I’m here.

HarveStaff Brand Ambassador volunteers
at Manitoba STAMPEDE by Dianna Kellam

In July, HarveStaff participated in the Manitoba Stampede, hosted by the Valley Agricultural Society in Morris, MB. The event promotes ag awareness and agri-tourism across the region.

After connecting with Director Matt Hoffman earlier this year, we saw value in participating. HarveStaff gained Ag Society membership, increased brand visibility, and explored networking and staffing opportunities.

I volunteered at the gate greeting attendees with my HVS apparel and observed several potential future client opportunities.

Do You Have a Team or Club You Support?

At HarveStaff, giving back to the communities where our employees and their families live, work, and play is a core part of who we are. We’re proud to support local teams and organizations that matter to our staff—and we’re always looking for new opportunities to do more.

If you or a family member are involved in a team or club that could benefit from sponsorship, we want to hear from you. Please share the details with Rose Smith at rose.smith@harvestaff.com for consideration.

Whether it’s supporting Force Volleyball, the Wolverines girls’ youth hockey team, or other grassroots initiatives, HarveStaff is committed to investing in programs that make a difference. We believe in building stronger communities by helping individuals reach their full potential—on and off the field.

Together, let’s continue making a positive impact, one team at a time.
